ABOUT ME

Despite having a perfectly adequate first name, I just go by my last name: Peet.

After growing up and studying graphic design and web design in New Zealand, I jumped ship as soon as I could and washed up in Japan. I spent 4 years there, working as a designer at Mojoprint, freelancing at Japanzine and even co-founded a monthly, bilingual gig guide in between all the sake and yakitori.

I decided I needed more cheese in my diet so I moved to Amsterdam in 2009 and landed a job at 180 Amsterdam as a Graphic Designer where I worked on global campaigns for clients such as DHL, Playstation, ASICS and Ketel One Vodka. In 2013 I moved to Sid Lee Amsterdam to work on Absolut, Adidas and Red Bull amongst others. There, I became Design Director in 2014.

In 2015 I moved to New York as a Senior Art Director at Barbarian to work on IBM, GE, Pepsi, Etihad Airways, JBL and Samsung. In 2016 I became an Associate Creative Director.

I spent a little over a year as an ACD at Swift in Portland, Oregon working on Google Hardware including launching their new Instagram handle @googlepixel.

I’m currently at Imprint Projects in San Francisco working on Levi’s, Method, Dropbox, Strava and more.
